North Devon Congress
The very successful North Devon Congress is run by the North Section and is an open Congress held annually in Barnstaple, usually in late February or early March.
This event counts towards the Kevin and Ann Slee Trophy (Victor Ludorum).
Players must be members of the EBU.
Note: We hope the congress can run as normal in February. If we need to cancel all payments will be fully refunded. If we need to reduce the number of tables and/or residents to allow social distancing, bookings will be accepted in the order received and prizes will be reduced significantly. In the case of cancellation of a Face to Face congress we hope to run Online Events as in 2021.

This congress features a ten match Swiss Pairs on Friday and Saturday followed by a seven-match blue pointed Swiss Teams on Sunday.
The Hotel and Surroundings
The Barnstaple Hotel, home of the popular North Devon Congress since 2003, is just a short stroll from the centre of Barnstaple, yet only ten minutes from the beautiful North Devon coast.
The hotel offers all the facilities you need for a short break including heated indoor pool and sauna, fitness room and solarium. We highly recommend the Sunday night DBB available after the congress.
