Western League 2024-25

Eight counties are once again taking part in the 2024/25 Western League competition; Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, East Wales, Herefordshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. Devon will enter teams in each of the three divisions, A, B and C. The winners of each Division will be invited to compete in the National Inter-County League Finals on RealBridge on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

When and Where

The league runs from September 2024 to April 2025 on RealBridge.

All matches take place on a Saturday at 2pm, see below for the dates.

Matches and Scoring

All matches comprise 24 boards, played in two stanzas of 12 boards each. Scoring is by net IMPs converted to Victory Points.

Selection

Many thanks to our selectors Warner Solomon and Stephen Rafferty who will select teams from the players who registered their interest in playing for Devon.

Eligibility

All members of the Devon Bridge Association are eligible to play for Devon in this competition, and there is no minimum NGS requirement to register your interest.

National Final

The winners of each division qualify to compete against other regional league winners in the one-day National Inter-County Final on RealBridge in June, 2025, date to be arranged.
