Saturday 23 March on BBO. Eleven pairs took part in this competition, the qualifier for the EBU Corwen Trophy - results.
Devon Teams-of-Four.
Six teams entered and they were randomly drawn into two groups. The group winners were Warner Solomon's team and Richard Lingham's team. They will play each other in the final and the winners will represent Devon in the Pachabo (EBU inter-county teams). Details
Devon Teams-of-Eight.
As Torquay Bridge Club were the only entry to this competition, they are the winners by default and will represent Devon in the regional final of the Garden Cities Trophy competition on May 11, 2024 in Bristol

We had sixteen tables for this charity event raising money for North Devon Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Care. Congratulations to the winners Alison Pollok & Ian Walsh with Paul Hide & Stephen Rafferty.

This popular North Devon Congress took place at the Barnstaple Hotel, North Devon, on Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th February 2024.

The Eastern Section is running a Teams League Series again this autumn. All teams are welcome whether as a Club or group of individuals, EBU affiliation is not required. Information is on the Eastern Section Website.
Sadly, Don Pearson finally lost his fight against cancer on 29 September 2023. He was a central figure in the South West bridge world for many years. Arrangements have been made for a farewell to Don at Torquay Crematorium TQ2 7QG at 9.45 on Monday 23 October and afterwards at TAAG Teignmouth TQ14 8DD. All who knew Don and wish to pay their respects are welcome. read more

As you may know, Don finally lost his fight against cancer late in 2023. In memoriam, and as a thank you for everything he did for bridge in Devon, Exeter Bridge Club are holding a charity teams event in his honour.
